An identity system for a fictitious music studio in Detroit, Binary Studios was a cutting edge music studio that produces contemporary works by combining traditional music structures in innovative ways. Founded by a classic pianist, the purpose for the business was to cater to the emerging film industry in Detroit. The final mark is based on binary form itself; structuring a piece of music in two related sections. The two pieces that come together in this instance are a traditional Baroque flourish and a bold, bright and modern letter B.
